Rachel and Jared met on Sunday, July 10, 2016. Rachel's initial plans were to go tubing with friends down the river until it turned too cold and cloudy for that activity. Instead of tubing, the group decided to socialize at the Thirsty Badger bar in Chippewa Falls. Meanwhile, Jared and his high school friend decided to hang out and have a few beers at the same place at the same time! As they entered the bar they sat across from Rachel and her friends. Jared decided to play some music on the jukebox and Rachel decided to make her move and talk to the man that caught her attention. #ShewenttoJared. Rachel and Jared connected immediately with their outgoing personalities and contagious smiles. From this day forward, these two became inseparable. They wanted nothing more but to go on fun adventures and create lasting memories. Dating started off with Rachel inviting Jared to a fun country jam concert with friends. That lead to exciting date nights and spontaneous trips together. They even took a leap of faith together jumping out of an airplane at Skydive Wissota in Chippewa Falls! Jared proposed to Rachel on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 2018 where they first met at the jukebox in front of friends and family, followed by a joyful 'Yes!' Spending every moment together was the norm for these two as their relationship grew into a forever love story that brought us here today♡
