Hello everyone! The Olins have been guests of Watervale since 1929, and Lower Lake Herring residents since 1969. Elizabeth spent her summers growing up here, was on the Watervale staff throughout college, and has decades of memories in this beautiful place! Drew’s first visits were post-engagement and he has quickly come to love it as well. He thinks of Watervale as a cross between two of his favorite childhood summer spots in Harbor Springs, MI and the Adirondacks. Many describe Watervale like the location where the movie “Dirty Dancing“ was filmed, with a central Inn for meals and social events, surrounding guest cottages, and lake front recreation. Watervale has been owned and operated by the same family since 1917, with many of the original buildings and cottages carefully restored and used to this day. The Inn and Casino are two of those where we’ll be celebrating and we’re so excited we get to share it with you!!
