What are the COVID-19 rules for our wedding?

Answer

We do ask our guests (over 18 ) to please have either a negative PCR test or to be fully vaccinated. We would really love to meet you all and enjoy our time together, while staying safe and not putting others into danger. Let's poke the nose and eat the cake!

Until when should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP until August, 21, so that we get a chance to plan accordingly.

Is Ukraine open for travelers?

Answer

Most of our guest are arriving from the USA or Europe. Ukraine is open for both of those regions. But you would need a COVID-19 insurance and a negative PCR test or a vaccination passport. You can find the most current information about entering Ukraine on this website: https://visitukraine.today/ There you can also buy a COVID-19 insurance, it's super easy.

Where can I buy the COVID-19 insurance?

Answer

You can get one on the https://visitukraine.today/ They offer different providers, which are all basically the same. So just pick one. The whole process is super easy.

What are the current COVID-19 restrictions in Kyiv?

Answer

According to the infection situation, all the territory of Ukraine is divided into zones: GREEN, YELLOW and RED. Since June 2021 Kyiv is in the GREEN zone. GREEN zone restrictions: - Masks are required in public transport, indoor public premises, - Persons must carry ID, - When going to restaurants, cafés, nightclubs, cinemas, cultural institutions, and public events you are required to wear masks, - Indoor mass events (including our wedding) are allowed to be held at full capacity without social distancing requirements. Masks are required, unless everyone present has a negative COVID-19 test taken within the previous 72 hours or is fully vaccinated*. *(To participate in our celebration, we do ask our guest to have either negative PCR test of be fully vaccinated)

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Check out our program (THE PROGRAM section of this website), to see our detailed timing. Please join the reception at 3pm, say Hi to everyone and make sure you don't miss the ceremony. Should you miss the ceremony, you can join us again at 19h, for the concert and the dinner.

It's a wedding! Don't hesitate to dress up and be festive. But in the end, we'd like you to feel comfortable.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Please organize your own transportation. It's easy with Uber or with the local alternative, called Uklon. It's super cheap in Kyiv.

What is the best way to commute in Kyiv?

Answer

We recommend using Uber or Uklon (local alternative, available on AppStore and Google Play) for your transportation. Also, when you arrive to the airport, please use them as well, or one of the official taxis. Rates are very low in Kyiv. Within the city, you can also use one of the bike or scooter sharing options, like BikeNow, Bolt scooters, Scroll scooters, etc.
