ENG Our story began shortly after Ola moved from Chicago to Phoenix to begin her pharmacy residency. Being new to the desert, she and her co-residents joined a social volleyball league to meet new people. One evening, their team was short a player, and a mutual friend called up Josh to see if he could sub. Josh didn't have much going on that night, so he opted in—little did he know his life was about to change. The moment Josh saw Ola, his first thought was, 'Wow, she’s hot... I have no chance with her.' Fortunately, the volleyball gods had other plans. Over the following months, we saw each other constantly, both on the court and at social gatherings. That time spent as friends allowed us to build a real connection and truly get to know one another. After a few months of spiked balls, team hangouts, and growing chemistry, we realized there was something more there than just a game. We’ve been teammates ever since!"
