We met in July of 1994. I was hanging out with my best friend Shenyetta and she wanted to go to a shoe repair store on 27th Ave and 183rd St. in Carol City Fl. She walked in and quickly walked out. She asked me to come in and when I did, there was this handsome young guy behind the counter. My best friend introduced us, and he took my number. He called and our first date was at Taco Bell. We broke up but God intervened and brought us back together on Feb. 6, 2024. We randomly met at a Publix and the connection was just as strong although it had been 30 years since we had seen each other. We were inseparable then and we are the same now. We are so thankful that we get to have a "do over" and this time it is FOREVER!! #AlwaysAnicet

On my birthday he took me to dinner at one of my favorite restaurants. Then he decided to take me where we are getting married on the beach in Ft. Lauderdale. We walked around and I noticed that he was acting nervous. We sat and talked at an outdoor eatery. Then we walked on the beach. He walked behind me and when I turned around he was on one knee. Then he said, I already know the answer but I will ask you anyway, "will you marry me". I jokingly said "let me think." Then he took out one ring and said, "this ring represents the first 10 years of love we lost after we broke up as teens." Then he took out another ring and said, "this ring represents the second 10 years of love lost thinking that we were both living a wonderful life with other people. This last ring represents the last 10 years to make 30 years of love we missed." He then said, "now we have each other to love forever." I cried! I love him #AlwaysAnicet
