Maid of Honor
Olya and Vika met through Sasha (bridesmaid) and had an instant connection. When in college (and even to this day) people think that they are sisters, so sometimes they say that they are. There was a time when they sort of lost touch, but have been present in each other's lives and all major event over the last 11 years. There has not been a day that they do not communicate through Snapchat, text, or have some type of communication over the last few years. Vika works as a Instructional Assistant at Roseville City School District.
Best Man
Father of the Groom (or as some would say, the older twin). When it came time to decide who would fill the role of the Best Man, there was no doubt who Cassim would choose. Cassim always strived to be like his father, and wouldn't be where he is today without his guidance and example. "My Dad has always been there for me every step of the way. There is no one I would rather have standing by side as I take a step into this exciting new phase in my life than him!"
Bridesmaid
Dasha is Olya's (not so little) little sister. When Dasha was younger, she kept telling Olya that she needs to get married soon so that she can be a flower girl. That ship sailed and instead she has watched every rom-com and episode of Say Yes to the Dress to prepare for her role as a bridesmaid. She lives in Boston and is getting her Graduate Degree from Harvard Law.
Groomsman
Cassim and Ben started off as co-workers but quickly developed a great friendship. Bonding over a mutual love of sports, Ben and Cassim competed together on multiple sports teams (Basketball and Bowling) and continue to bond with the always fun trips to the golf course. They have played a vital role in each other's growth and development. Ben resided in San Jose where he manages a high-performing AT&T Store. He's an all-around athlete, talented musician, and recently became a Puppy Dad to a beautiful German Shepard named Onyx.
Bridesmaid
Olya and Sasha met during the Summer of 2009. Olya moved to Cupertino the summer before starting college at UC Santa Cruz and wanted to find some Russian-speaking friends. She went to Russian social media to look for people around her and only liked Sasha's profile, so she wrote to her. It turned out Sasha just came to the states a few weeks earlier. They have been good friends for the last 11 years. Sasha and her husband, Brad, went on a world trip for a few months and moved to Denver in March 2019 (a memorable date; it was the first year that Sasha was not able to attend Olya's birthday since they have been friends). Sasha works as a Software Engineer in downtown Denver.
Groomsman
Cassim and Marshall met at UC Santa Cruz through a group of mutual friends. During their first encounter, they bonded over the shared experience of growing up in Los Angeles and dealing with the culture shock of living in Santa Cruz. Chance would have it that almost a year later, they would become housemates. During that time, Marshall would be instrumental in Cassim's personal and professional growth. Marshall still resides in Santa Cruz where he operates a successful Massage Therapy practice.
