While attending UW-Oshkosh, Bryan and Jenn ended up at the same house party, the best place to meet your future spouse. The next day Jenn woke up to a message online from Bryan and the rest was history. The pair officially began dating on October 22, 2013 and made many more memories on the UW-Oshkosh campus over the next few years.

After patiently waiting and suggesting to Bryan that she was ready, Jenn had no idea what Bryan's plans were to pop the question. While Jenn was away for lunch with dear friends, Bryan rushed to get things ready at the house for a BIG surprise. He invited lots of family and friends over to be a part of the special day. Jenn was completely shocked to return from lunch to cars in the driveway and road, she instantly had an idea something was up. Bryan was standing at the end of the driveway, tears in his eyes already. He walked Jenn over to the waterfall, a favorite place at their new home, and got down on one knee.
