Are there other places to stay nearby?
Answer
Yes! Because the venue is somewhat near a casino area, hotels can be pricy. So, we ultimately decided to pick hotels that were closest to the venue and a little more affordable. But, the Foxwoods Casinos are also nearby and are a fun place to stay if you are looking for al little extra activity. Would recommend: - Hilton Garden Inn Preston Casino Area - 5 Watson Rd, Preston, CT 06365 - (860) 885-1000 - The Fox Tower at Foxwoods - 240 Fox Tower Dr, Mashantucket, CT 06338 - (860) 312-3352 Both of theses are very close to the casino area and about 20 minutes from the venue. I would not expect Ubers to be an issue. We have also heard wonderful things about The Spa at Norwich Inn if you are looking for something more recluse and relaxing. Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
Yes! We arranged for bus transportation from the Courtyard Norwich and Comfort Suites Near Casinos. If you choose to stay elsewhere, you will need to arrange your own transportation. Bus Details: Buses will make 1 trip to the venue, stopping at the Comfort Suites, then the Courtyard, to arrive at the venue between 3:30pm and 3:45pm. They will make 1 trip at the end of the reception (~10pm), again stopping at both hotels. Exact departure times: - Comfort Suites - Buses will arrive at 2:45pm and depart at 3:00pm for the Courtyard - Courtyard - Buses will arrive at 3:05pm and depart by 3:25pm, arriving at the venue around 3:40pm, with enough time to use the restroom, enjoy the view, mingle with other guests, and find your seat for a ~4pm ceremony start

Is there a dress code?

Cocktail Attire (Outdoor Celebration) Our ceremony takes place outdoors overlooking the tree farm. And the reception will take place under a tent behind the ceremony area. We’d love for our guests to dress up and celebrate with us in style — polished and festive, but not black tie. Men: Suits or dress pants with a blazer; ties are welcome but not required. Women: Cocktail dresses, midi/maxi gowns, or dressy jumpsuits Since the celebration will be outdoors on cobblestone (with surrounding areas of grass), we recommend block heels, wedges, or flats for comfort. Think cocktail attire with a touch of garden party!

Are kids invited?
Answer
We adore your little ones, but our celebration will be an adults-only affair, with the exception the children in our immediate family/those in the wedding. If your invitation includes your children by name, they’re absolutely invited. Otherwise, we hope you’ll enjoy a special night out with us kid-free. Thank you for understanding!

Is there parking onsite?
Answer
Yes! There is ample field parking just adjacent to the ceremony/reception space - if you take the dirt road up the hill to the venue, when you arrive at the top, the tent will be on your left, and you may park anywhere in the field to the right. The owner has also said leaving cars overnight is permissible if needed, as long as they are retrieved in the morning.
