We met through a friend and never looked back. Sam is the kind of person who will be there the moment I need her — my voice when I don’t have one, my constant, and my calm in the chaos. She’s fun, honest, driven, and incredibly strong‑hearted, and I know without a doubt she’ll get me to the wedding no matter what. Some of our best memories are simple ones — long chats, laughter, and a bottle of pink prosecco — and I’m so grateful to have someone with such a big heart and unwavering love standing beside me on the day.

Alex is not only Matt’s brother, but quite simply the truest friend he could have ever had. Their bond was written in the stars the moment Matt was born, and it’s only grown stronger over the years — from childhood days spent watching wrestling and acting out their best moves, to Pokémon adventures, to making memories while living in America, and now standing side by side on this special day. Alex has a heart of gold, delivers the very best jokes, and cares deeply for the people he loves. Matt couldn’t have chosen a better brother, best man, or lifelong ally to support him as he takes this next step.
Safiya
Bridesmaid
Safiya is my little sister, and even though there’s almost twenty years between us, I truly can’t imagine my life without her now. I didn’t have her in my first chapter, but she has become such a treasured part of every chapter since. She is endlessly sweet and kind, always smiling, quietly determined, and wonderfully competitive in the way that makes you admire her even more. Safiya brings so much light, warmth, and joy into my life, and having her by my side on this day means more to me than words can ever say.

I met Bobbi while working together in a restaurant, and it didn’t take long for me to become very fond of her. She is endlessly positive, kind‑hearted, and sweet, with such a genuine care for the people she loves and always time for others. We shared so many funny nights behind the scenes, collecting stories that still make us laugh. Having the honour of being a bridesmaid at Bobbi’s wedding in New Zealand was incredibly special, and it means the world to now have her standing beside me as I celebrate this chapter of my own.

Fran and I met through work and instantly realised we could be friends. She’s honest, direct, and refreshingly straight‑talking, with an incredible heart beneath it all. Fran fiercely looks after the people she loves, is always up for a laugh, and brings so much fun wherever she goes — even if her dislike of chocolate desserts remains one of life’s great mysteries.
