Our Love Story

A Journey of Two Souls

His POV Fate had its own plans as our paths crossed one evening at a Church mid-week service in December of 2021. I still recall the moment I first laid eyes on Christine, standing there with an aura of quiet confidence and a smile that could light up the darkest of rooms. Little did I know that the simple exchange of hellos and conversations that evening would ignite a spark that would forever change the course of our lives. “….I do not have anything to offer you but Jesus Christ, so don’t waste your time…” This were Christine's words, little did Christine (“Daughter of the Most high God”) know that Olatunji was stronger in the pursuit to becoming more than a friend. I am thankful to God how our connection deepened with each passing day. We shared stories, dreams, and aspirations, weaving together the fabric of our intertwined destinies. Through laughter, triumphs and challenges, our bond only grew stronger, fueled by the love of God that knew no bounds. As I look back on our journey together, I am filled with gratitude for every twist and turn that led us to this moment. Through it all, one thing remains abundantly clear - you are my forever sweet eternal. I love you. I Corinthians 13: 4-5 Her POV I met Olatunji at our Christmas Carol service at OBIC. On that day, I was very excited for the service because I love music. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, I was very late for church. As I walked in, I realized that the service would end soon. Despite seeing a new face in the church, I focused on the musicians. After the service, as I headed to my car, a friend intercepted me, saying someone wanted to speak to me. I was reluctant, having no interest in dating or meeting anyone. Despite my friend's persistence, I just wanted to go home. My friend suggested that the gentleman could drive me to pick up my car, which was parked far away due to my late arrival. Skeptical, I asked to see his driver's license. After verifying, I reluctantly agreed to let him drive me. During the ride, the gentleman engaged me in conversation, but I made it clear I was not interested in anything other than focusing on Jesus and myself at that time. Despite his request for my phone number, I declined politely. After reaching my car, I drove home, reflecting on the unexpected encounter. I would have never imagined that this was the love story the Lord had penned down for me. I love you forevermore. Proverbs 3: 5-6
