The City of Arts and Sciences is a cultural and architectural complex in the city of Valencia. It is the most important modern tourist destination in the city and one of the 12 Treasures of Spain. It was designed by Santiago Calatrava and Félix Candela.
Our favorite way to get to the beach is by renting bikes and riding through the Jardín del Turia but you can also easily take a taxi. Once you reach the beach, if you walk down the promenade you will find various local restaurants where you can eat lunch, especially paella and fideua! One of our recommendations is La Murciana.
Marina Beach Club is a great way to spend the day relaxing by the infinity pools overlooking the Mediterranean, drinking cocktails, and listening to great music. Please note, you must make a reservation in advance and you can do so via their website!
This is one of our favorite areas in all of Valencia since it is surrounded by many restaurants, coffee shops, boutique stores, etc! We definitely recommend strolling through the plaza and the nearby streets, as well as seeing the Valencia Cathedral which is located right there.
Jardín del Turia is an old river bed that was converted into a massive park that stretches all throughout the city. We LOVE renting bikes and riding all the way down to the beach through the park. If you do this, you will pass right through the City of Arts and Sciences!
