We’re getting married!

They swiped right.

Abby and Andrew were on a big Disney trip with Abby’s family, spending time at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort, a cruise on the Disney Dream, and a night at The Grand Floridian Resort at WDW. Abby had been bugging AJ for approximately two years about getting married, but had said to never propose on vacation, because of all that could go wrong. Well, on Christmas Day they were all on Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island. While relaxing on Serenity Bay, AJ asked Abby if she wanted to go walk down the beach with him. She replied that the point of relaxing on the beach was to actually sit there and do nothing, not walk. However, he persisted, so she humored him by walking down to the end of the beach. After picking around at some shells, AJ started getting emotional, and Abby knew what was coming! Once she stopped asking “are you really doing this right now?!” (see: do not propose on vacation), she said “yes, of course!” And the rest is history.
