We met by chance, paths crossing unexpectedly. Dante and I met while we were in school, but not in the same place. He was at FSU and I was back home in Pensacola at PSC. April 1st 2017, Dante asked me to be his girlfriend at his then Tallahassee home. We were eating Olive Garden take out on the floor and popped the question. He graduated and moved back home and I moved to Tampa for University. We spent a total of two and a half years traveling back and forth to each other. The majority of our relationship was spent apart, but we enjoyed every moment of it. After my graduation we moved in together, it's been nothing short of a fariytale. FIve short months after moving in together we got engaged. October 27th 2019, one of the happiest days of our lives finally happened. We both had been looking forword to this moment. Once again we were back in Tallahassee, only this time not in his room or on the floor. This time we were in his car on our way home from an amazing weekend vacation. We stopped for dinner and a little walk. After the walk Dante pulled off to a parking lot, got out of the car, opened my door, and got down on his knee. "We started our relationship here in Tallahassee, we began one of the most important reationships we'll both ever have here. I want to begin another very important part of our relationship here. Oksana Marie Bagaas, will you marry me?" I wanted to say 'yes' in every language. I get to marry the love of my life and my best friend. He is everything i could've asked for in a partner, he's someone i never knew i needed, but everything i've ever wanted. Our love is a once in a lifetime type of love.
