Our adventure begins...

Oksana once described it like a bad Teen Movie, when Will stepped off the bus for the first time in 7th grade: butterflies, sweaty palms, and big cartoon hearts floating around his head. The New Kid, her best friend's new neighbor, and her new seatmate in science class. Cue the music montage of them growing up and falling in love...

On vacation at her favorite place in the world, Folly Beach, Will and Oksana went for a moonlit walk to get ice cream and catch some Pokemon (what nerds). As they walked and stared at the stars, listening to the waves crash quietly on the shore, Will mentioned how much he loved her. When Oksana turned around and saw him down on one knee, she was so excited she simply yelled "YES!", without even giving him a chance to ask. But don't worry, they recreated the moment later that night so he could give his full speech (he'd practiced for so long, it'd be a waste not to hear it), after she stopped crying, of course.

We packed up, moved to Florida and adopted 2 furry little children, Koda and Moose! We spend our weekends kayaking, hiking and working on random DIY projects that pop onto Oksana's Pinterest and into her brain (keep an eye out for some of them in the wedding!)
