Maid of Honor
Aka Sierra's ride or die, number-one girl, and best friend in the whole universe. Jessie is Sierra's first pick for a zombie apocalypse team (after Andrew, of course) on account of her uncanny ability to rise to a challenge, love with her whole heart, and impeccably design any interior (even zombie hunters need nice houses). Jessie is truly one of the most genuine, intelligent, and caring people on the face of the earth. She's an intentional leader, the kindest sister, and the best possible person to have in your corner. Sierra can't fathom an existence without her.
Matron of Honor
After semi-accidentally crashing a New Year's Eve party at Marguerite's house, Sierra is (years later) pretty convinced that she's never actually left. In the time that they've known each other, Marguerite has grown in Sierra's life from fellow Pride & Prejudice, Ludovico Einaudi, and French cuisine lover to wise-advice giver, spiritual mentor, and adopted older sister. If you're a fan of literature, theology, or cozy cups of tea, Marguerite is 100% your girl.
Bridesmaid
Sierra met Raquel at Survivor Camp in 2013 (iykyk) and they quickly bonded over shared custody of a toy snake from Burger King (RIP, Ernie. We don't know where you disappeared to). Sierra likes to introduce Raquel as her oldest friend, to which she'll often respond that she's "not 80 years old, thanks." Raquel has stuck with Sierra through thick and thin and is one of the most treasured people in her life. Catch them singing Y2K Radio Disney tracks together until they really are old and gray.
Bridesmaid
Once upon a time, Grace and Sierra were tasked with cleaning out a storage closet at their summer church internship. After hours (AND HOURS) of organizing, they became friends for life. Grace's presence in Sierra's life has taught her so much...like the fact that there's no green tea in green tea shots (weird), or that the correct way to pronounce "buffalo" is "boofalo" (don't try to debate them on this). Perhaps most importantly, Sierra has learned how to be a better friend through Grace's kind, honest, and irreplaceable friendship. She is truly one in a million.
Bridesmaid
Rachele is one of the most justice-loving people that Sierra has ever met, a fact that sparked a fast friendship and many deep conversations over late-night iced coffee. Rachele's affinity for adventure has taken Sierra to three national parks, one western coastline, several mountain ranges, an array of old-fashioned diners, and a fever-dream tourist attraction in South Dakota (ask them about Wall Drug). She's an incredible boss babe (hit her up to market your business) and the very definition of a fiercely loyal friend.
Bridesmaid
Michelle and Sierra met when they still worked in the restaurant world (ah yes, the chaos of kitchen life). Michelle was in pastry and Sierra worked the line...and after a year of avoiding each other, they finally caved and became buds. These days, you'll catch Michelle crushing Sierra at every version of Uno imaginable (rude), teaming up with Andrew to roast her incessantly (even ruder), or showing up at her door with a coffee and a giant hug (she really is the best). Michelle is sassy, silly, and has the biggest heart. Sierra absolutely cherishes their friendship.
Bridesmaid
Makayla and Sierra met in the office and soon discovered that they could yap about anything and everything under the sun (podcast coming soon). They love café-hopping, singing to T Swift at the top of their lungs, and adventuring in Grosse Pointe (especially when there's an estate sale to be found). Makayla has the warmest, most compassionate heart, and has a way of making everyone around her feel valued and seen. The fact that she's known Andrew since childhood makes her friendship with Sierra even more special.
Bridesmaid
Maggie and Sierra should be Starbucks ambassadors considering how often they get together over coffee and oatmeal on Thursday mornings. Their love for thrifting has taken them everywhere from Ann Arbor to Chicago, where they've toured a number of noteworthy spots to score vintage treasures. Maggie is down-to-earth, full of joy, and an intentional leader. Sierra has been incredibly blessed by her rich and vibrant friendship, and she can't wait to tag-team shenanigans with her for years and years to come.
Bridesmaid
Aubree is the ringleader of the White family sibling trio and the proud mom of three dogs and two cats (all of which have expressly different personalities). She's spunky, no-nonsense, hilarious, kind-hearted, and Sierra & Andrew love her to pieces. Aubree lives for a good adventure, and you can regularly catch her making sure that everyone in her circle has a present to open on their birthday. She's an incredible sister, an intentional friend, and Sierra & Andrew treasure her presence in their lives more than they can describe.
Bridesmaid
When Sierra met the White family, Mary was the first to pipe up with an "Oh, HIIIII!" and a warm smile. She's an absolute delight of a human with a plethora of jokes, a ready laugh, and an affinity for major-league baseball (Tigers or bust). Mary is a genuine friend to everyone she meets, and will go out of her way to remember your favorite things (she hand-painted a Star Wars scene for Andrew's 30th birthday). It's safe to say that Sierra & Andrew love her tremendously and look forward to tackling the ups and downs of life with her forever.
Best Man
Andrew’s favorite brother. No, seriously. Andrew’s life became an adventure the day Aaron was born (it's been a wild and wonderful ride for almost 25 years). Aaron is the White family’s number-one source of mischief, and his unpredictability keeps everyone laughing at all times. We're always wondering what he will do or say next, which means we're preparing ourselves for an epically-unhinged wedding speech! Aaron is intelligent, cares deeply about the people around him, and is an undeniably loyal brother and friend. Andrew & Sierra are incredibly grateful for him.
Groomsman
After working together at Subaru, Carter became one of Andrew's closest friends (five years of shenanigans and counting). Catch them popping wheelies on their dirt bikes, racing old cars until they fall apart, and setting flame to anything that has the capacity to fuel a bonfire.
Groomsman
Another casualty of that Subaru life, Andrew and Anthony's weird senses of humor brought them through the coworker phase and to the *other side.* Their loves include late-night Call of Duty and discussing the eight million wonders of the world on Anthony's podcast.
Groomsman
Luke is the White family jokester-in-chief, so if he lets you in on a "fact," you'd better Google it first to make sure. Luke is Aubree's fiancé, an expert at tree-trimming/construction, and a big ol' softie who loves to hang out with their five pets. We couldn't imagine our wedding party without him.
Groomsman
Andrew was introduced to Max at a bar, fittingly enough, after Sierra prompted him to meet her friends one night at Renshaw's in Royal Oak. Bro...Max has a language all his own, and is the kind of guy who can be the life of the party just as much as he enjoys keeping things chill. Max is always cracking jokes, but in between the humor, he'll casually drop tidbits of the most mind-blowing knowledge you've ever heard in your life.
Groomsman
When Andrew drove with Sierra to her friend's surprise proposal in 2024, he had no idea he'd be introduced to one of the most entertaining people he'd ever met. Caleb is positively a sir—a man of many tastes and talents. His love for food and beer rivals that of anyone on the planet. Caleb will keep you constantly laughing, is a man who cares deeply for his family and friends, and is always trying to make sure everyone around him is enjoying themselves.
Groomsman
A pattern is clearly forming, because Andrew was introduced to Austin when Sierra finally decided that he was safe enough to meet her friends. They bonded instantly over Andrew’s WRX, and within ten minutes of meeting each other, were driving off into the sunset like a scene out of a Hollywood movie. You'll often find Austin and Andrew talking about just about anything that involves guns, cars, video games, food, or adult beverages.
Groomsman
If sarcasm was a cake, Logen would take it without question...so if you cross his path, be ready to sharpen your wits! Logen is Sierra’s younger brother, resident Okoniewski family genius, and can fix pretty much anything (we're convinced). He has a huge heart, loves his family with everything he has, and can appreciate a good debate like a sommelier can appreciate fine wine.
Groomsman
Meric is the youngest (and tallest) of the Okoniewski siblings, and is equal parts funny, easy-going, warm-hearted, and wise. Andrew and Meric are always cracking jokes (Andrew's favorite pastime), and Sierra has loved watching their friendship grow. Meric cares enormously about his family and friends, is sharp as a tack, and is always ready to lend a word of encouragement or a helping hand.
