We both swiped right in 2019 and decided there was no longer a reason to keep swiping! We chatted on the phone for 30 mins and then met at a coffee shop to continue our conversation in person. We were so engrossed in the conversation that we didn't realize that the coffee shop had closed for the evening. It wasn't that we "just clicked" or had a fairytale love at first sight moment, it was having an open heart and mind to listen to what God wanted for us. It was clear with time that God wanted us to build a life together. We didn't harmonize by accident and our love will serve a greater purpose.

Okey couldn't have made the proposal to Meghan any more special! He invited Meghan to a brunch cruise on the Potomac. He knows her eyes light up whenever she is near a body of water. It is her place of serenity. The tables were covered in rose petals, he gave her a gift that expressed his love for her. They were thankful the boat provided a lot of tissues because the tears were flowing like the river they were cruising on! The DJ invited us to the dance floor to honor our love. Meghan's heart melted while they danced to "Spend My Life With You" by Eric Benet and Tamia. On a bended knee, Okey proposed and of course Meghan said, "YES!"
