What precautions are you taking for COVID-19?

Answer

The safety of our guests is our highest priority. The White Room issued the following statement: “We highly recommend the use of masks for guests at your event due to the Covid-19 virus. The White Room will provide masks at the door. We are taking temperature checks for guests at the door and spacing our guest tables according to the recommendations of the Florida Division of Hotels and Restaurants. Our staff will be in masks, use gloves, and be temperature checked upon arrival prior to the start of their shift.” While we are not asking anyone to quarantine, we personally will be quarantining prior to the wedding. We also will be receiving COVID-19 tests before the events. We recognize this is a difficult time to navigate, we just ask that you do what is best for you and your family.

Will you be live-streaming any part of the wedding for those of us who cannot attend?

Yes! We will host a Zoom meeting of the ceremony. If this is something you are interested in, please e-mail Heffley2021@gmail.com and we will send you an invitation.

Where is the ceremony/reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be at The White Room. Their address is: 1 King Street St. Augustine, FL 32084 The Ceremony will take place in the Villa Blanca and the reception will take place in the Grand Ballroom. There are different entrances for each location so keep an eye out for The White Room Staff.

What time should we get there?

Answer

Our ceremony starts promptly at 2:30pm. The Villa Blanca will open at 2pm with the doors closing at 2:25pm. Please plan accordingly.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Unfortunately, there is no parking at The White Room. Although there is street parking, they are coveted spots and may be difficult to find. There is a parking garage that is about a 15 minute walk. The parking garage is $15 per vehicle and located at: 1 Cordova Street St. Augustine, FL 32084 https://www.citystaug.com/502/Downtown-Parking-Garage

What is the dress code?

Cocktail, please. But don’t worry, we won’t judge you if your shoes or ties come off.

Any other special attire notes we should know?

Answer

In typical Florida fashion, weather can be unpredictable. The weather can range from the 50’s to 80’s. We recommend checking the weather frequently before traveling. All events will take place inside with an outdoor option for the cocktail hour.

In order to keep our guest list on track we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Please feel free to e-mail us with any questions at heffley2021@gmail.com
