The most beautiful destination I've been to in Turkey. The small town has a small and lively bohemian town. This is a world class scuba destination as there is an entire ancient city under the water. From Istanbul it is a one hour flight and you will fly into Dalaman Airport then a 2 hour drive. Other cool activities in Kas: Sea Kayaking at Kekova Mountainbiking the backcountry Trekking the Lycian Way Canyoning in the Kibris Canyon
If you want to go to Bodrum but be far away from the peasants... This is the nicest all inclusive resort Emre and I have ever been to. When I say luxury, I MEAN LUXURY. You would spend the entire trip on campus of the resort - 5 restaurants on campus, bars, personal butler, and buggie service across the giant resort.
Akyaka is where green forrest meets sea. This small town has a lot of hidden low-key bays with some of the most spectacular sea views - its very low frills and you would want to rent a car. Akyaka is known globally for their Kite Surfing and could book you lessons with our friends who run Kite Mercedes.
Alacati in Cesme, Turkey is a very sweet town with a great (GREAT) nightlife scene and many restaurants. It is a coastal town on the water with more of a focus on beach club parties rather that naturistic beauty. Don't get me wrong, the sea is absolutely fabulous, but it's located further north. The more south you get, the more Mediterranean blue you get in the sea. Stay in the town of Alacati, looks like a greek town filled with wild flowers and cafe table lined streets. The flight is about 40 minutes from Istanbul and you would fly into Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport (ADB).
Needless to say... Cappadocia is a world destination. You would only need two-three days. Forewarning, will be extremely hot during August with no sea access.
