Our story began on New Year’s Eve 2020, when fate—and perhaps a little pandemic boredom—brought us together during the height of Covid lockdowns. Jasmine, a travel nurse from Florida, was living life on the go, while Osiris, a lifelong El Pasoan, was firmly rooted in his hometown. What started as a night filled with laughter and connection quickly blossomed into a whirlwind romance. Just four months later, Osiris packed up his life to join Jasmine on her travel nursing adventures. On our two-year anniversary, Osiris proposed at the stunning El Morro Castle in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. Jasmine was completely surprised but overjoyed to say yes. That morning, Osiris asked Jasmine’s parents for their blessing. Knowing how close she is with her family—and how much her mom loves to share on social media—he waited until the last possible moment to keep the secret safe. With their enthusiastic “yes,” everything aligned perfectly for a moment we’ll treasure forever. Together, we've embraced the beauty of our differences.
