FAQs

Question

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

Tentative deadline is October 18th, 2025.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Online! Closer to the actual wedding date there will be an RSVP tab on this website.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal. Our theme colors are pinks, purples, and blues. If you’re interested in color matching, we would be delighted! It may be chilly as historically weather will be mid-60s and only a few steps from the beach.

Question

What is the address of the venue?

Answer

Del Mar Powerhouse Community Center 1658 Coast Blvd, Del Mar, CA 92014

Question

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes! Our venue is ADA compliant.

Question

What is the easiest way to get to the wedding venue?

Answer

Southbound on the 5 by car, take the Via De La Valle exit. Take a left on Camino Del Mar. Then a left onto Coast Blvd. The venue will be on the right.

Question

Will there be parking available?

Answer

We recommend the paid Seagrove Parking Lot, located at 1601 Coast Blvd (across the street from the venue). It is about a 5 minute walk from the parking to the ceremony so please allow yourself time to get to your seat prior to the ceremony. (The first image in our gallery maps out these three areas, if you want a visual aid.) Parking is $20. Alternatively, utilizing a ride share service from your accommodations is a great option.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

Please see the Hotel tab on this site for some hotels that are close to the venue and choose one that suits your needs.

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our afternoon ceremony will be outdoors as well the majority of cocktail hour. The majority of reception seating will be outdoors, but the dance floor and some lounge areas will be indoors.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Historically, it should be in the mid-60s in November. It may be cloudy and potentially rain. There will be heaters and indoor spaces but the ceremony will be outdoors. Please bring a light jacket if you think you may be cold.

Question

Are plus-one and children allowed?

Answer

Unfortunately, we're on a tight budget and have limited space, so we simply can’t afford for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Plus ones and children are therefore by invitation only and we ask other guests to please not bring a plus one. Thank you so much for understanding!

Question

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

A fantastic taco bar!

Question

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

Yes. Please tell us everything when you RSVP.

Question

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Please send any gifts to 1511 Summit Ave, Cardiff, CA 92007.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos?

Answer

We ask that you refrain during the ceremony but otherwise please do!

Question

Is it ok to post wedding photos on social media?

Answer

Of course. In addition, we would love it if you uploaded your photos at the link below. Shared album: https://bit.ly/oj_2025_photos

Question

Are there any cultural traditions or best practices guests should be aware of?

Answer

Our friends and family come from all walks of life. Please be kind and appropriate.

I have more questions about your wedding, who can I contact?

Answer

Our parents! Please reach out to Laurie Leigh or Laura Berman.
