There’s something magical about being so close to someone, yet just missing each other time and time again. While both attending the University of South Florida, Olivia and Isaac shared countless rooms and hallways without ever being formally introduced, two paths running side by side, waiting for the perfect moment to meet. That moment came in 2021, as the world began to reopen after the pandemic. With just one swipe on a dating app, Olivia showed her interest in Isaac. What started as a few lighthearted conversations soon turned into something deeper. Before Olivia’s birthday, they met in person and spent hours talking and laughing, welcoming her birthday together and unknowingly setting the stage for a beautiful love story. A few long conversations later, they planned their first official date at the Florida State Fairgrounds. But fate, once again, had its own plans. Isaac accidentally drove to the fairgrounds headquarters instead of the fair itself. Nervous but determined not to let the moment slip away, he improvised, turning what could have been an awkward mix-up into a spontaneous adventure at the Ringling Museum in Sarasota. From that day on, they both knew something special was unfolding. In May 2021, Isaac asked Olivia to be his girlfriend at her favorite place, Davis Islands Park, not realizing it was already so dear to her heart. Soon after, he introduced her to one of his greatest passions: dancing. Isaac, a member of the El Monstro Dance Team, invited Olivia to go social dancing. It was there she fell in love with bachata and grew to like salsa too. Eventually, she joined the dance team, and together they performed at socials and dance congresses across Florida and Chicago, deepening their connection through every step, spin, and song. In 2025, Isaac revisited all their favorite memories, bringing Olivia to the places that marked their love story. His final stop, Davis Islands Park, was where he got down on one knee, asking her to spend forever with him in the same place their journey began. For four years, dancing has been the rhythm of their love, a joyful expression of their partnership, passion, and playfulness.
