Hey y'all! Thanks for taking the time to read this! Here's a little about us: We met in May of 2020, at a bonfire at Christie and Leon's house. Afterward, we would meet at Little Venice and quickly spent all of our free time together. In October, we moved in together and by February, we were engaged. A little bit of a whirlwind, but when you know, you know. We picked August 5th because it is close to August 1st, Steven's father's birthday. This day is picked specifically in remembrance of him. You will notice, there are 27 candles total on the dessert table. This number is picked specifically in remembrance of Emily's Grandpa, who's birthday was on the 27th of February, and because we know he would be the first to get a slice of cake if he was here. In lieu of a traditional wedding cake, we have a few Kentucky Derby pies. This was Emily’s Grandma Marilyn’s favorite and we know that if she were here with us, she would be making sure everyone got a slice, you’ll feel her love in every bite. We are very excited to share our love with our family and loved ones.
