We met through a mutual friend and neither of us really thought anything of it (I did think he was a cutie with his long, shaggy hair and Ninja Turtles shirt). Months went by of Travis hanging out, crashing on our couch, going out with us and I quickly realized there was more behind those dreamy blue eyes! 💙 We made our relationship official on March 6, 2016!

New Year’s Eve we went to a friend’s house to pop fireworks (MY FAVE!). We were out in the street popping fireworks with all of the neighbors and about 10 minutes before midnight my friends suggested we move to the backyard for the finale! I made a pit stop at the bathroom and met them in the backyard where I saw Travis standing at the end of a candle lit walkway. I walked over (felt like I was dreaming) and he got down on one knee and popped the question to which I said “Of Course!!” and immediately the clock hits midnight and all of the fireworks start shooting off. Truly magical 🤩
