Farmer's Market of Carbondale
This farmers market is all the rave by the locals! They are open Saturday 8am-11pm rain or shine! The Carbondale Farmer's Market has been providing fresh, seasonal fruits, vegetables and meats to Southern Illinois for 42 years. They also have a great selection of baked goods, cultivated mushrooms, pastured eggs, pickled products, salsas, honey and cheese. Their market is a diverse mix of multi-generational family farms, ecological growers, artists and craftspeople who are committed to bringing the best local food and arts to the market every week during the season.

This is a fantastic local pub for good eats and a HUGE beer menu! We have gone there twice in our trips to and from Dragonfly, and we have not been disappointed. They have inside seating, and an outdoor patio, family friendly!
