Owen proposed on a cruise with Haley’s family — which sounds perfect… unless you’re the one smuggling an engagement ring through cruise ship security. He spent way too much time worrying the metal detector would give him away in front of Haley. Luckily, it didn’t!
To throw her off the trail, Owen staged a fake-out the day before by getting down on one knee... just to tie his shoe. So when he actually proposed, ring in hand, Haley looked at him and asked, “Are you tying your shoe?”
He wasn’t. And once she realized this wasn’t another joke, she said “yes!”
Haley and Owen have always been inseparable — especially when it comes to showing up for the people they love. They never miss a family event, and they love spending weekends together fishing, thrifting, and tracking down their favorite foods.
