Our story begins at our first job at our local grocery store, Katie was working in the bakery and Weston was working in the deli. At the time Weston did not know Katie's name and just had a massive crush on the bakery girl. He mustered up the courage to ask for her number and we became close friends quickly. One day we were leaving work at the same time and we found out we lived down the street from each other! He promised he was not following her home! We also found out we went to the same community college together and would be together on our breaks. We spent a lot of time hanging out and getting to know each other. Weston knew he had to ask Katie to be his girlfriend. The rest is history! 6 years have gone by and soon we will be celebrating our marriage. We are so excited to celebrate with you!
This is a picture of us at our first job. This is where we met each other, back then Katie was just the bakery girl that Weston had a crush on.
This was our very first date. Katie's family had tickets to the Rivercats game! Weston showed up with a ring pop and bouquet of roses to ask Katie to be his girlfriend!
This is our one-year anniversary, we went to Disneyland and went out to a nice dinner to celebrate.
We have traveled to many different places including Bodega Bay, Huntington Beach, Tahoe, San Fransisco, San Diego, Nevada, Idaho, and many more!
We also love camping! We have gone camping all over California with our families. Some places include Bodega Bay, Eagle Lake, Big Basin Redwoods, and Trinidad
Over the years we have been to Disneyland countless times and we have enjoyed every second of it! The happiest place on earth quickly became our favorite place to be.
Disneyland became an even happier place to be after Weston proposed to Katie before her birthday. He had to sneak the ring through security without Katie seeing it!
This is the moment when Weston asked Katie to marry him. A wonderful bystander caught this exact moment for us we are so happy we have a picture of it.
This is just a snip-it of our time together. We have been together for 6 years, will be 7 years this September. We are so excited to have you celebrate our next step in life as Mr. and Mrs. Spivey!
