Few hour hike with lots of stairs toward the end. HUGE payoff with amazing views at the top. Stop for breaks as often as you need. Bring water.
Lanikai Pillbox Trail
Really fun hike to a pillbox with amazing views of Lanikai beach - one of the most beautiful beaches the island has to offer. Stop in Kailua town for breakfast, lunch or shave ice.
Hanauma Bay
You need a reservation to enter the park. This sells out every day so be sure to book far in advance. Snorkel tours and transportation packages available on the website. Beautiful views and a great way to experience the east side of the island.
Morimoto Asia Waikiki
Doug & Hannah’s favorite Honolulu restaurant. Ocean views and amazing Asian food. Be sure to request patio seating for the best experience.
Duke's Waikiki
An absolute must! Enjoy Doug’s favorite mai tais and coconut shrimp beachside. Live music often. Enjoy a swim or suntan while you wait for a table.

Hannah’s favorite mai tai and unbeatable ocean views while you eat.
Haleiwa Joe's Haiku Gardens
Massive cuts of meat, great seafood and lush views of Hawaiian jungle. Considerable drive from the Waikiki, but a great taste of a different part of the island. They do not take reservations - expect waits of up to an hour. Recommend going as soon as they open around 4pm for ideal views.
Chart House Waikiki
Another Doug & Hannah favorite. Enjoy harbor views, good seafood and tropical cocktails.
Roy's Waikiki
A Hawaiian fine dining staple.
Uncle Bo's Pupu Bar & Grill
Comfort food, pupus (Hawaiian for apps) & pizza. Great option for picky eaters.
Day in Kailua
Spend the day in Kailua. Swim in the water at Lanikai beach. Enjoy lunch in the town of Kailua. Many people rank Lanikai as the best beach on Oahu.

Doug and Hannah are on a first name basis with the bartender here. Amazing breakfast restaurant by celebrity chef Leanne Wong. Do not skip!
