Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We are asking all guests please RSVP by September 5th, 2024

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal attire is requested this is less formal than black tie. Formal wear for men may include a jacket and tie or suit, a tuxedo is not required. For women, floor or mid-length dresses. Block heels suggested as there will be grass. Please no jeans! We also ask guests not to wear white ivory or cream colors traditionally reserved for the bride. The bridesmaids will be in gold tones if you wish to avoid matching the bridal party.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is limited to family. If your little ones were invited it will be indicated on your invitation. We do ask if any children need to take a moment that parents respect us and our guests and remove them to settle.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

shuttle will arrive at MGM Springfield, in the cul-de-sac on Howard Street (near Red Rose) to pick up guests for a 3:00 pm departure and transport them Longmeadow Country Club, drop off and return to MGM. 3:30 pm for remaining passengers.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking at Longmeadow Country Club as well as a valet service.

Is the ceremony and reception inside or outside?

Answer

The reception is planed for outdoors weather permitting to be held on grass. Ladies keep this in mind when planning what shoes you will be wearing, block heels recommended. The main reception space will be outside under a tent on the pavement.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be an open bar with a variety of options to choose from. Please plan transportation accordingly beforehand.

What do I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

If you cannot make it you will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP not attending so we can plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 4 PM please arrive at least 15 to 30 minutes prior to the ceremony to allow time for parking and finding your seat.
