The Wedding Website of Savannah Murphy and Steven Gullotta
Here are some answers to questions you may have. If you have a question that is not featured here, please message me at 484-809-0590. I would not message the future hubby because he will not know the answer to your question, and will end up asking me anyway.
Question

My invitation says the day of the wedding is Saturday, September 21, 2021... What's up with that??

Answer

My bad. I made an error on the invitations. The wedding is not on a Saturday. However, the wedding is on TUESDAY September 21, 2021. Please see the "Schedule" tab on this page for a more detailed description of the day's events. I humbly apologize for any confusion.

Question

Can I RSVP for my minor children?

Answer

No. This wedding is an adult only affair. If you need help finding a sitter service for the evening of the wedding, please contact me and I will help you find a suitable sitter for your little one.

Question

Is the Stanley Hotel where they filmed Kubrick's The Shining?

Answer

No. I love that movie just as much as the next person, but the Stanley Hotel is not where it was filmed. Stephen King got his inspiration for the book when he was trapped at the Stanley on his way through town. They were about to close for the winter when a blizzard hit, he begged them to let him stay. It was just him, his wife, his son and a worker at the hotel. Bizarre happenings occurred during his stay and that gave him muse for The Shining. Stephen King was displeased with Kubrick's adaptation of The Shining, and filmed his own mini-series at the Stanley Hotel. Dumb and Dumber was also filmed there. Jim Carey stayed in room 217 after filming Dumb & Dumber, he called his agent early the next morning and told him to get him out of there. He has not spoken of his night in room 217 since.

Question

Are the meals gluten free?

Answer

Yes! After the ceremony, appetizers will be passed out on the Presidential Lawn. As of now, half of these appetizers are gluten free. So there will be gluten free options at happy hour. For dinner, the plated meals, both the chicken and the beef, are gluten free. There will also be some chocolate covered strawberries offered that will be gluten free. However, the cake and cupcakes are not gluten free. If you have any questions about what will and will not meet your dietary needs, please message me and we can figure it out.
