We're married! Let's party!

With great joy, we got married in a small, intimate ceremony with our parents and siblings at The Colony Palms in Palm Springs. We look forward to celebrating the happy occasion with everyone in Portland this summer.

Our mutual friend, Julie Scotland, invited the both of us to a holiday brewfest. We guess you could say we had already admired each other from afar having casually been at the same gatherings with our friends and asking them, "He/she is cute - who's that?". Following the brewfest, Doug asked Julie if she wanted to ring in the new year together - where that turned into their official first date. What followed that first date are years of celebrations, personal growth, travels, and a curious cat named Max.

During one of the last sunny, crisp days of an Oregon Fall, we went wine tasting in Hood River, OR with several close friends. Doug asked Julie if she wanted to take a quiet stroll through the Wy'East Winery Vineyards, where he got down on one knee, said all the romantical things, and proposed! We celebrated with tears of joy, popping a bottle of bubbly and calling our families right away. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
