Miranda and Brendan met at Longwood University in 2012, the first week of their freshmen year. They began dating one month later when Brendan asked Miranda to be his girlfriend by writing it on the whiteboard outside her dorm room. (Pictures of this under Photos tab) Miranda and Brendan are college sweethearts and dated all four years of school together at Longwood. They graduated in 2016, and that August moved in together with their dog Rylee at their home in Leesburg. After four years together, Miranda was SO ready to get engaged. However, Brendan had his own plans and made her wait very "patiently" for another 3 years before popping the question. During these 3 years, Miranda and Brendan adopted their dog Neeko, went to a lot of Washington Capitals games, survived the “Great House Flood of 2018”, and started a business with Miranda’s parents. Brendan FINALLY proposed on December 23rd 2019 at Nationals Park at their Enchanted event. It was a magical night surrounded by Christmas lights and family. Now, after 8 years together, we can't wait to tie the knot and start our happily ever after!
