There are other events around the same time in Rome, so we HIGHLY recommend booking your hotel stay early. The Courtyard by Marriott Rome Riverwalk will be the host of many of our guests. If you wish to stay in Atlanta, and drive in for the wedding, the options for hotels are endless. One of our favorites is the Hotel Claremont, located right on Ponce.
Invitations are addressed directly to those who are invited. If you are allowed to bring a 'plus one' of your choice, who is not listed on the invitation, the invite will say "your name + guest." Please understand that, outside of very specific invitations, we cannot accommodate unlisted guests.
We love your children and would have loved to invite them all. However, due to capacity and the nature of the event, invited children have been limited to a very small few. Invited children will be listed on your invitation by name, or it will say Mr/Mrs___ & family. If we are inviting you and your spouse, the invitation will be made out to "Mr & Mrs/Ms" only. We hope you understand, and use our wedding as an opportunity for a "parents night out!".
We ask that guests dress in semi-formal. It is May in Georgia, so it will get pretty warm in the afternoons, but has the potentially to be chilly in the evening! We want everyone to look AND feel their best, so please dress with the heat in mind. Please no jeans, shorts, or flip flops. And of course, please reserve white/cream/ivory for the bride. The ceremony will be outside and the reception will be tented. You will have to walk on grass for certain areas of the event.
Other events, such as the rehearsal dinner, will be invitation only for a small group of family and friends. If you have traveled in for the weekend, Rome has so many wonderful restaurants, shops, and activities that we would love for you to explore.

There is ample on-site parking
Please arrive no later than 5:15 PM as the ceremony will start promptly at 5:30 PM. There will be a strict cutoff time so that there is no cross over of guests taking their seats during the ceremony. Thank you for understanding!
There will be a trolley for guest pickup if you are staying at the Courtyard Rome Riverwalk at 4:45 PM sharp. Please feel free to utilize this option, but be aware that it may not be able to fit all of our guests, and have a backup plan to drive and park at the venue. There is also ample on-site guest parking at our venue, The Lawrence.
