We both downloaded a dating app called Hinge with an iconic slogan, "Designed to be deleted." It was, in fact, deleted after our first date, so the app was not lying. We met at Lucy Cooper's for a beer because it was close to both our places, and, come to find out, we only lived five minutes from each other. After hours of talking, the date came to an end, Austin turned on the music in his car, and the song "Beautiful Stranger" by Marcus King came on. It was a sign. Before we knew it, we went on a second, third, and fourth date, and shortly thereafter, we were (and still are) glued to the hip.
