Wine Tour around the Finger Lakes
Sample some of the world-famous Finger Lakes Region Wine. Finger Lakes Wine Country, New York is home to more than 100 wineries, breweries and distilleries centered around Keuka, Seneca, and Cayuga Lakes. Plan a day around beautiful scenery with a wine tasting or look into scheduling a wine tour. There are so many great options, we can't recommend just one but would be happy to help point you in the right direction! Check individual winery for group sizing and reservation requirements ahead of your visit.
Niagara Falls
Take a drive over to one of the seven wonders of the world, Niagara Falls! You can walk up for a view of the US side of Niagara Falls or get up close and personal on the Maid of the Mist. Or bring your passport to cross the border and visit the Canadian side of Niagara Falls from above, behind, or on the water. Feel free to reach out to us for more information!
The Strong National Museum of Play
For the kids, or kids at heart, check out this 150,000 sq ft museum dedicated entirely to toys, games, and any form of fun. Galleries and exhibits are dedicated to a wide range of familiar toys from all throughout the ages. Special highlights include: New York State's only indoor butterfly garden and the International Center for the History of Electronic Games (they have so many arcade machines!!!)
Women's Rights National Historical Park
Women's Rights National Historical Park tells the story of the first Women's Rights Convention held one (1) hour outside of Rochester, NY in 1848. Visit this historical site to learn the stories of Susan B. Anthony and many other Women's Rights leaders and abolitionists.
Watkins Glen State Park
Of all the beautiful state parks in Upstate New York, Watkins Glen State Park is one of the most famous. Located at the south end of Seneca Lake, this 2-mile trail follows the glen's stream as it descends 19 waterfalls. It is a must-see for any nature-lover or for somebody looking for a picture-perfect spot.

Yes, we are 100% recommending you visit the local grocery store. It's not just your typical grocery store. During your stay, Wegmans will be your one-stop-shop for any groceries or other essentials you may need. They can be found all around the greater Rochester area and is quite the sight to behold. We even suggest going to their in-store cafe for a quick lunch or mid-day snack. If you don't believe us, you'll just have to go see it for yourselves.
