Skyeler and his friend Tyler (groomsman) came to visit their friend Ben (groomsmen) at Nike one day. They were greeted by Rachel and she told them that Ben wasn't working until later. The boys stuck around and Skyeler chatted with Rachel for a little bit before leaving. They both texted a mutual friend they had that same night and started to hang out more at school and during the weekends at Rachel's lacrosse games or Kiwi Yogurt. A few weeks later on October 16th, he picked her up from work at Nike and said he wanted to be able to introduce her as his "girlfriend" the next day at his brother Justin's house for pumpkin carving.

Skyeler took Rachel to the city for the day and took her all over Philadelphia until they came to a stop at one of their favorite spots, the fountain outside of the cathedral. Skyeler talked for what felt like 20 minutes about how much he loved her but she remembers none of it because she was too busy crying. Finally he got down on one knee and she of course said...yes! We are so excited to celebrate the next chapter of our lives with all of you! See you in Philly!
