2005 - They Met. 2018 - Their First Date. 2021 - She said Yes. 2022 - They say I Do!

Dennis completely surprised Shannon when they were out on one of their weekly adventures exploring their new home town area. They went hiking at The Garden of Gods. The views were absolutely breath taking. Shannon was taking videos and pictures and Dennis called out "Babe" so she turned around and he got down on one knee with the ring out. Shannon instantly started crying, and with all the emotions, all she could say was "youre stupid" jokingly over and over again. Of course when she caught her breath and realization set in she said absolutely. After the proposal another hiker walked up and said she witnessed everything, and asked if we'd like our picture taken together. Of course we said yes. Shannon and Dennis immediately called both of their families and to her surprise THEY ALL KNEW and were expecting the call. Everyone was so happy! The next weekend Dennis' family came into town and joined Shannon's family and they all celebrated their engagement together.
