Aeropuerto de Madrid Barajas

The closest airport to Toledo is Madrid's international airport. To get from the airport to Toledo you have a few options: - By train: 1h 30min, ~15 eur. Take the C1 or C10 train from airport (terminal 4) to Puerta Atocha station (30-35 minutes) and AVN train from Puerta Atocha station to Toledo station (30-35 minutes) Ticket purchase can be done directly at airport or train stations or online for the Puerta Atocha to Toledo station route - By combination of taxi and train: 1h-1h15 mins, take a taxi directly to Atocha station from the airport (25 minutes, ~25 eur) and then take the direct train to Toledo station (30-35 mins) - By taxi / uber / cabify: This will take about 1h, and prices might change but we estimate it will be around 100 eur for Uber / Cabify and 150 eur by taxi - By car: Toledo is about 1h away by car from the airport if you choose to rent a car

Train

Renfe

There's a 30 min train between Madrid and Toledo which we think is the most convenient option! The train is around 12 eur, and runs every hour. Since you don't really need a car if you're planning to stay in central Toledo we find this option really convenient!

Rental Car

Traditional car rentals

Madrid airport has many car rental options, and is about 1h from Toledo city. Toledo is a small medieval city and parking in the old town isn't always easy. All our events are within walking distance so we don't think a car is necessary! However if you're planning to extend your trip for our wedding into a longer holiday or road trip, this would be a good option.

We expect a lot of our guests will be staying here so we will organise shuttles from the hotel to the church on Saturday (10 mins!) and from the church to the venue (6 mins!) Taxis to return to your hotels/accommodations after the party will be organized all throughout Saturday night and will be arranged directly at the exit of the venue.

This hotel is located inside the walled city (town centre) and is walking distance from our events except the wedding reception which is a 15 min taxi (we'll be providing shuttles from the church for this) Shuttle services will be organized from the church ceremony to the wedding ceremony for guests who are interested in this option (please make sure to tick this option as part of your formal RSVP) Taxis to return to your hotels/accommodations after the party will be organized all throughout Saturday night and will be arranged directly at the exit of the venue.
