Carly is Lyndsey’s little sister and arguably her best friend on earth. Chances are if you are talking with Lyndsey, she will mention Carly at least once (or 10 times). She is kind, dependable, hardworking, and the perfect person for the MOH duties. Tip your hat to the maid of honor, she has done a lot behind the scenes and kept this show on the road!!

Averie is Lyndsey’s older sister, they have been two peas in a pod since day one. From driving to school together to becoming adults, their sisterhood has stood the test of time, trial, heartbreak, and everything along with it. As time goes on Lyndsey and Averie grow closer, but she has always been a build in best friend. Lyndsey is ELATED to have such a supportive sister on her big day.

Matron of Honor
Jen (and her husband Brian) are undoubtedly the best mentors L& B could have asked for. From Friday night friend group hangouts at their house, to bible studies, and even pre marital counseling, they have stuck right by L&B. Jen has been like a second mom to Lyndsey, and confidant, a prayer warrior, and most importantly… a friend. Brandon and Lyndsey love and appreciate them so much!
Lyness Amsberry

Lyness is Lyndsey’s best friend from college. She is Lyndsey’s confidant, her sound board, her crazy idea affirmer, and another sister. Though she moved to Iowa after finishing school, they have maintained their friendship cheering each other on from hours away. Lyndsey is not Lyndsey without Lyness.
Brooke Vuncannon

Lyndsey met Brooke on Facebook while doing a roommate search for her Junior Year of college. They met one time over a Chick-fil-a meal and knew they would be a great fit. Brooke was around for everything good and bad, she was also the best roommate there ever was. She listened to all of Lyndsey’s ideas about how she might get engaged and was there to cry out of happiness when it finally happened. Lyndsey loves Brooke to pieces!!
Jenna Oetjen
Mother of the Bride
Though she has passed, we could not move forward without featuring her. Jenna was God fearing, family centered, and the best mother and wife anyone could wish to be. We would not be who we are without her. Luckily, Brandon was able to be around her for a long time… so we know she would approve🤍
Ron Oetjen
Father of the Bride
Ron took over the role of mom and dad in 2021. He is always there, extremely supportive, kind, loyal, and can fix just about anything. Both Lyndsey and Brandon love him to pieces. Everything Lyndsey (and her sisters) do well is in great part due to Ron pushing them to be better. There are no words to express the gratitude in Lyndsey & Brandon’s hearts for him. He is “dad” but also a loyal mentor and even best friend.

Kathy (commonly known as Kat to everyone who loves her) is the definition of family centered and loving. There are no lengths that she wouldn’t go to for both Brandon, his sister Brittany, and her new granddaughter Emerson. L&B know if they ever need reassurance or support, they can go straight to her. We are so grateful for her and love her dearly!

Where do we even start… both Lyndsey and Brandon cannot remember a time when Bren was not a best friend of theirs. Since middle school, Brandon and Bren have been best friends. He is dependable, trustworthy, and is the glue that has kept our group together.
Matthew Dennings

Matthew, the final key to the original friend group since middle school! Matthew always keeps us laughing, always shows up, he is always the last to leave our events, and has been a constant in both Lyndsey and Brandon’s lives. Words don’t cover how grateful we are that we have all maintained these friendships since the 6th grade.

Jackson taught Brandon how to do body work at Caliber Collision, through working together they became great friends! Jackson is a very valued friend in Brandon’s life, we are super grateful for him.

Carson is Brandon’s brother in law and his only brother. Brandon was a groomsman in his sister, Brittany, and Carson’s wedding… so this is a fun full circle moment for them both!
Steve Averett
Father of the Groom
Father of the groom, and GROOMSMAN!! Needless to say from the double title, Brandon loves his dad so much. Steve is not only Brandon’s dad, but one of his best friends. If L&B need a laugh, they will call Steve… laughing is guaranteed around him. L&B love him BIG!!
