FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal attire is requested for the ceremony. For the reception, guests are welcome to change into more relaxed attire if they wish. The venue features an indoor pool, so feel free to plan accordingly.

Question

What is on the menu?

Answer

A pizza party! 🍕 We’ll have plenty of pies to go around, plus some snacks and, of course, cake to finish the night.

Question

Is there parking near the ceremony venue?

Answer

Yes! The Pennsylvania State Capitol is located in downtown Harrisburg, and there are multiple public parking options within a short walk of the building. Parking garages nearby: several city garages — such as the Locust Street Garage, Walnut Street Garage, 5th Street Garage, and Seventh Street Garage — are located just a few blocks from the Capitol. Street parking: metered street parking is available around the Capitol Complex. Some meters may be enforceable by time limits or require payment during typical city hours, so please check signage. ParkMobile app: many of the metered spaces downtown can be paid through the ParkMobile app, which guests find convenient for multi‑hour stays. We recommend arriving a bit early if possible, as downtown parking can fill up during busy times, and allow extra time to walk to the Capitol.

Question

Will there be parking at Round Top Mansion?

Answer

Yes — parking is available onsite at the reception venue.

Question

Will accommodations be provided?

Answer

We are so grateful to celebrate this day with all of our friends and family. Overnight accommodations at the reception venue are reserved for a small number of guests. All other guests are welcome to join us for the ceremony and reception, and may return home afterward.

Question

Can we bring children?

Answer

For the safety of all guests, and because the celebration will not be child-friendly, we kindly request that this be an adults-only event. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you.

Question

What should we expect for the weather?

Answer

Late fall can be crisp, especially in the evenings. We recommend dressing in layers or bringing a light wrap or coat for comfort. Guests are welcome to enjoy the fire pit in the evening for a cozy, relaxed end to the night.
