Jackson and Lexi met sophomore year of high school and were best friends for two years before Jackson decided he wanted them to become something more. On July 9th, 2018, he asked Lexi on a date, and well-- you saw how that turned out!

Jackson had been planning this special moment for months. He used his grandmother's engagement ring, asked Lexi's parents for their blessing, and planned a party with their best friends to surprise her for after the proposal! As for the actual proposal, Jackson and Lexi's best friend and wonderful photographer, Erin, planned a photo shoot at Fort Benjamin Harrison State Park. Little did Lexi know this would turn into an engagement shoot! While taking photos and dancing in the river, Jackson spun Lexi around and-- while her back was turned-- dropped to one knee and popped the question!
