We're Getting Married!

Like most great love stories of our generation, ours began with a swipe. Hinge, to be exact — because apparently that's where God was working in 2022. After matching, Odera wasted no time. He was determined to meet Cierra in person, and he made that very clear. Lucky for him, Cierra wanted to meet him too — there was just one small logistical problem: she was in the middle of being a bridesmaid, not once, but twice, with a wall-to-wall family in town and approximately zero free hours in her schedule. But they were both motivated. So they made it work — the way you do when something feels worth it. The solution? A 6am breakfast date at Rise and Shine Biscuit Kitchen. They both showed up sleepy-eyed and hopeful, and somewhere between the early morning light and their first real look at each other across that table, it was clear — this was going somewhere. The second date is when everything changed. They danced all night — and somewhere between the music and the laughter and whatever bit they were doing (because there is always a bit), something clicked. These two were made for each other. They share a language of inside jokes, spontaneous harmonies, and comedy routines that only they fully understand. Their friends think they're hilarious. Their families just nod along. Either way, no one is bored. From that second date forward, life became one big adventure. They've read books side by side, hit the slopes snowboarding, worked out together, and filled their playlist with music that means something. But nothing has defined their relationship quite like travel — the way seeing the world together has a way of revealing who someone really is. Their trip to Italy turned out to be one neither of them will ever forget. Odera led Cierra to a cliffside overlooking the water in Sorrento — and with the Italian coast stretched out before them and the kind of view that makes you believe in everything, he got down on one knee. Cierra had a feeling something was coming, and yet — she cried anyway. She said yes. Through all of it — the early mornings, the dance floors, the mountain slopes, the airport terminals, the ordinary Tuesdays — the center of Cierra and Odera's relationship has always been God. They are dedicated members of their church, they pray together every single day, and they push each other to grow deeper in their faith.
