Meet the ultimate dream team: the Officer and the Nurse. What more could anyone wish for? Together, every angle is covered—security, health, creativity, and a whole lot of love. The Introduction Seth and I first met at Williamson Medical Center, where we worked. He was walking down the hallway, whistling (lol maybe not whistling but I can picture it), and I was with some friends in a secluded part of the hallway, infringing on some good nightshift gossip. As he went about minding his own business, I politely said, “Hey, what’s your name?” Seth stops and introduces himself, and starts up a small conversation. He was new to the hospital and had just finished orientation. This small conversation turned into almost an hour! My poor friends and I were ready to get back to our chit-chatting, so we bid Seth a good rest of his night and said our goodbyes as we parted ways. That was my first impression of Seth. The Romance After that, every night he and I worked, he would stride to my floor and seek me out. We would talk for hours! A few months would go by before our first date. On July 4th, 2023, we had our first date celebrating under fireworks in the Murfreesboro Fountains Park. At the end of the date, I felt seen for the first time in years since I moved to Murfreesboro in 2015. Little did I know this would be the beginning of a beautiful friendship. The Forever One of the first memories I have where I thought to myself, "I could picture marrying Seth," was after meeting his parents. They have been married for over 41 years, and were high school sweethearts. Their relationship is what Seth strived for in his relationships, and their beautiful union meant a lot to me as well. Of course, Seth points to a different memory as a particular highlight of our relationship, the moment I told him "I Love you!" He was out shopping at the grocery store, Aldi, when re received a text from me. He read a digital touch message from me scribbling " I LOVE YOU!" across his screen. Seth remembers having the biggest ear to ear grin on his face reading that message. It was a monumental moment for us considering it was the first time we had said that to each other. At this moment, Seth realized that I was serious about him just as much as he was for me. The Proposal Chattanooga seems to be “Our Spot.” We have visited there multiple times throughout the years, and each time feels closer to home. We enjoy the atmosphere, all the outdoor activities, and the wonderful farmers' market. I remember talking one day about how we both had never taken professional photos before, so when Seth suggested we take couples photos in Chattanooga, I was down. Yes, there were times when I thought he would pop the question, but Seth was being so nonchalant about this photoshoot that I made myself believe this would not be it. When Seth proposed to me, I was open-mouthed, shocked. I literally asked him what he was doing on the ground. I didn't see the ring in his hand or hear the words fumbling from his mouth. The idea of spending forever with Seth is one word: “Blessed”, because God answered my childhood prayer. The Wedding We're both so grateful to you, our community, for your love and support. We can't wait to celebrate the wedding with you soon!
