Sami and Tyler first met in college at the University of Miami through Quidditch. They became friends and a couple of years later began to date. Their first date was going to see Beauty and the Beast live action for Sami's 22nd birthday. Tyler moved to Alabama to be a part of University of Alabama's football staff while Sami stayed in Miami for graduate school then joined Tyler in Alabama for medical school. In 2023 Tyler and Sami moved back to Miami together so Sami could start residency. What started out as friends grew into a relationship and then a lifelong partnership as Tyler proposed to Sami in a botanical garden in Virginia in December 2023. Tyler and Sami's story is full of love, laughter, Disney music, botanical gardens, animals, anime and football and they wouldn't have it any other way.
