We're getting married!

In 2019 both of us were newly accepted into FSU and mentally preparing for the major life change of moving out and starting our next chapter. Aurelia was in South Carolina, nervous about meeting friends at an out of state school, and joining as many prospective student social media groups as possible. In Orlando, Donovan came across Aurelia's profile on a FSU '23 page and sent a quick message about checking out churches in the area. We didn't think much of the exchange, but were happy to have made another connection. As the move-in date approached, we began to chat more. It was clear we had an unexplainable connection. We became instant friends, meeting up in between classes to use our meal plans and going to different campus events. We also began attending a local church together every Sunday. After a few months of telling everyone that we were just best friends, we began officially dating on October 16th. Since that day we experienced the highs and lows of college life together. We conquered long distance during the global pandemic, internships, and study abroad. We celebrated each other as we graduated and began our big kid jobs. We have held each other through loss and disappointments. We shared the joy and thrill of travel and experiencing life to the fullest. All of this life and more led up to the moment when Donovan popped the big question in London. And now we're excited to continue our love story on August 22nd surrounded by you and all of our other family and friends!
