Our Story

Nick and Rebecca met on a Wednesday night in April of 2019 at Louie’s bar in Moore, Oklahoma. He won her over with stories of bravery when he told her about a contest he won at work that involved who could freeze their hand for the longest with canned air. She fell hard for his sillyness. After that night, they were basically inseperable. He told her he loved her the Saturday after they met, and Rebecca’s response at first was “no you don’t.” Oh how wrong she was... One day in May, Nick was told that he would be stationed on Osan AFB, South Korea. Not wanting to be left behind, Rebecca let Nick know she would be coming with him (it wasnt a question), and despite only knowing each other for 2 months, they decided they had to get married so she could be added to his orders. Nick and Rebecca got married on June 6th, 2019 on Michael Murphy’s piano bar patio, officiated by their amazing friend Caitlin and witnessed by many a drunk karaoke singer coming outside for a smoke break. After the owners found out the couple had gotten married on their patio, they bought a round of shots for the group. Nick’s orders got cancelled in September, so the couple was staying in Oklahoma. Though disappointing at first, the couple found it to be a blessing in disguize, as they started a new adventure this summer (2020) in Austin, Texas. Since the day they met, the couple have been so crazy for each other that they barely noticed the signifigant amout of changes and hardships they’ve faced together. Too wrapped up in their love to be concerned about where they live, where they work, or what has changed. As long as they’re together, thats all that truely matters. Now in January of 2021, they will get to celebrate their union with their friends and family all together, and they cannot wait.

For all the days along the way
