Our wedding attire is formal / black-tie optional. We encourage guests to dress in elegant, evening-appropriate attire with a nod to the season. What does “black-tie optional” mean?: Black-tie optional means guests are welcome to dress in traditional black-tie attire, but it is not required. Think elevated, polished, and formal. What should men wear?: A tuxedo is welcome but not required. A dark suit (black, navy, or charcoal) with a dress shirt and tie is perfect. Dress shoes are recommended. What should women wear?: Floor-length gowns are encouraged, but midi or cocktail-length dresses are also welcome as long as they feel formal and elevated. Dressy jumpsuits are also a great option. Are there seasonal color suggestions?: We love fall-inspired tones such as deep jewel tones, earthy hues, and rich neutrals—think burgundy, emerald, navy, plum, chocolate, or black. Fall floral patterns or metallic accents (gold, bronze) are also beautiful for the season. What should I avoid wearing?: We kindly ask guests to avoid wearing white, ivory, or anything that may photograph similarly to the bride’s attire. Please also avoid overly casual fabrics (like denim or cotton sundresses). Can I dress up more than required?: Absolutely! If you’d like to go full black-tie with a tuxedo or formal gown, we love that! Tips for fall weather?: Evenings can be cool, so consider bringing a wrap, shawl, or formal coat to stay comfortable while still looking chic. If you have any questions or are unsure, please reach out to the Bride & Groom or you can also visit this link from The Knot (https://www.theknot.com/content/wedding-guest-attire-cheat-sheet) they have a ton of dress code articles to help!
To allow all guests to relax and enjoy themselves, we kindly request no children attend. Take the night off and leave the little ones at home!
