We can't wait to say 'I Do' with all of you!

Ali and Sean met at the VA Hospital in Buffalo, NY on their internal medicine rotation together. Sean was checked out, feeling confident that he would soon be entering into a specialty unrelated to internal medicine. Ali, on the other hand, was in her element. She often whispered answers to Sean when the attending called on him and he wasn't paying attention. Soon after, Sean and Ali both matched in Buffalo for their respective residencies. The rest is history...!

Sean proposed to Ali at the top of Ensign Peak Trail in Salt Lake City, UT. Despite it being a short 0.25 mile hike, Ali had to stop several times before reaching the top. The arduous treck was well worth it, though, after Sean revealed the carrot at the top. Ali didn't realize until several weeks after that what she thought may have been nerves might have actually been the 5,417 ft of elevation they were at. Apparently she was able to acclimatize as seven months later, Sean and Ali hiked to the top of 14,505ft Mount Whitney (the tallest mountain in the contiguous US).
