We met while working at McDonald's in Rockford, IL.
We met as teenagers while working at McDonalds in 2004. We developed a close friendship and shared nearly everything with each other. When Montell graduated from high school in 2004, he left Rockford to begin his journey as a college athlete. We remained long distance friends and I would visit him periodically. Octavia graduated from high school in 2006 and moved to Chattanooga. Our connection has always been special and we have never been at odds with each other. We stayed in contact off and on as friends for over 15 years and reconnected in December 2016. Montell was home to visit family for the holidays and we ran into each other at the mall. When we saw each other for the first time in 2 years, our souls instantly reconnected and we have not missed a day of communication since. After Octavia's mother passed, Montell was an amazing support system. We became even closer, and in September 2017 we decided to become an official couple. I decided to move to Houston and our lovestory started. Our journey began as co-workers and becoming best friends, then we upgraded to lovers and on August 7, 2020 we will began our lives as husband and wife.
You have been my best friend and my greatest support these past three years. I can’t imagine not having your compassionate hand to hold and your kind heart to care for. You are such a selflessly giving person and I’m so grateful to have you in my life. I’ve always known that I wanted to be married but it wasn’t until our very first date that I could see it being a reality in my life. With you, I see a future full of unconditional love, endless support, and a lifetime of growing together. I choose you to create a life together as one team. I choose us to believe in and rely on when times get tough. I choose our future as the promise I make to you now. I can’t imagine not committing my life to you and to us. You’ve made me a happier, stronger, and better person. I can’t wait to commit to a life of growing together. Love, Montell
