We met in high school when we both took a biomedical sciences class. Devin was a junior and I was a sophomore. We had some mutual friends who encouraged me to start talking to Devin. I finally did around December 2015, and in March 2016 we started dating! We finished high school, went to different colleges, and now live in Philadelphia finishing graduate school and medical school!

After 7.5 years of dating we ended up in Philadelphia and the time to get engaged had finally come. We were walking down the historic Addison Street with their year-round Christmas lights illuminating the trees around us. We were looking through a photobook of the memories we have shared over the years and when we got to the end I got down on one knee. She was shocked and enthusiastically said “YES,” and we were engaged. We’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you!
