Courtney & Keith

Wedding Party

Laura Mruk

Bridesmaid

Laura and I met in high school and quickly became fast friends! She's been part of our family, college roommate, vacation buddy, and confidant. We've been through so much together in our 20+ years of friendship - some of my favorite memories include backpacking in Greece, hiking to the top of Mt Kilimanjaro, and wine tasting in Napa Valley.

Annie Smith

Bridesmaid

Annie and I met in 2007 when I lived in her country, South Africa. Although I only knew her for 6 months before I moved back to the USA, our friendship went deep! We've been able to see each other almost every year since '07 - Annie's made trips to the States, Rwanda, and Zambia and I've been back to SA numerous times to see this dear friend. Our most favorite memory was biking through Vietnam Christmas 2018!

Brennan Lowery

Bridesmaid

Brennan (aka, "B") and I lived together in Rwanda for almost 2.5 years. During that time, I went through some of my highest highs (living with my best friends! finishing my ironman!) and my lowest lows (physical/emotional burnout and crushing breakup). B was there with me through it all. We climbed all the East Africa volcanoes together and even came upon a silverback gorilla on one of the hikes!

Karen Genzink

Bridesmaid

Karen and I met in Cambodia in December 2018 in a way that can ONLY be attributed to God. One month later, Karen moved to Denver and became my housemate. She's quickly became a best friend and shared in every aspect of life over the past 15 months. My favorite times with her are sitting on our comfy couch with wine and chocolate in hand, debriefing the week's events (including many BAD dates... until I met Keith!).

Karin Peters

Bridesmaid

My sister and best friend for the past 37 years! Our lives look vastly different especially when I lived in Africa (she had a minivan... I had a motorcycle... she was surrounded by kids at all times... I traveled internationally alone almost every month...) but she GETS me like no one else.

Elise Peters

Flower Girl

This lil spunky girl is a joy to be around!

Kayley and Abby Purvis

Jr Bridesmaids

Kayley (age 14) and Abby (age 13) are Keith's girls and our Jr Bridesmaids! These two (along with their brother) complete the package in marrying Keith and have already been warm and accepting of me entering their family. Kayley loves volleyball, Abby is super crafty and they both are incredible singers. They are fun to be around!

Dan Gendron

Groomsman

Dan has been with me through some of the deepest and darkest days of my life. We have prayed together, trusted God together, and laughed at life together. We met at Denver Seminary, worked together after we graduated and have enjoyed time together with our kids playing mafia games, having movie nights in the garage and going camping together at Colorado's Great Sand Dunes.

Sam Purvis

Groomsman

Sam is next in the line up of 5 brothers. I love his philosophical outlook on life and the ways he follows through on living out what he believes - I saw that years ago as he invested in understanding and ministering to the homeless population and I can see that now in the way he (and our other brother) run their coffee business. One of my earliest memories is reading to him on the couch and playing basketball together.

Tom Purivs

Groomsman

Tom is our middle brother and always kept us entertained by building Lego stadiums and announcing play by play for whatever sports were going on; he still does that today for women's collegiate basketball. Tom is an incredibly loyal man and I appreciate how he asks good questions and invests in knowing people.

Nick Purvis

Groomsman

Nick is brother #4 and is really kind, tender, and sensitive towards people. He's a great communicator and leader. He's also a talented musician, and I have enjoyed playing music with him. I have lots of memories playing sports together, and he's the brother who can outrun me.

Dan Purvis

Groomsman

Dan is brother #5! Because I was 11 years older (and much taller), he had a hard time playing basketball with the rest of us... but, he pushed through it and became an incredible player. When I lived in Santa Barbara, he joined me in some of my first hikes, which cemented a love for hiking for both of us.
